Many thanks to all the sponsors and walkers who helped to make Walk Against Warming 2010 such a success. 8,000 - 10,000 people came out to show their support for action on climate change to and put pressure on government to make carbon polluters pay. The Walk in Sydney was vibrant and fun, bringing together people of all ages and walks of life. The event was picked up by media across Australia including the ABC and the Sydney Morning Herald as well as internationally, helping to get the word out that action on climate change is urgent and that we need urgent action from our politicians.
